GENERAL SALES POLICY

 

This General Sales Policy supersedes any and all previous agreements, verbal or written.

 

PRICES:

Prices are subject to change without notice. Pricing errors are subject to corrections.

Prices on quoted/bid merchandise will be valid for 30 days unless specified.

 

TERMS:

NO MINIMUM ORDER.

2% discount 10 days. Net 30 days with approved credit. To receive approved credit, an application must be

completed in full and approved by our credit department. All allowed discounts and dates will be shown on

each invoice. Invoices must be paid by the date shown to qualify for discount amount.

No discount allowed on invoices under $50.00.

To maintain an open account, a purchase minimum of $1,500.00 per year is required. If purchase minimum is

not maintained, credit card or C.O.D. will be required.

Without approved credit, terms are MasterCard or Visa Credit Cards or C.O.D.

A 1-1/2% per month service charge ($2.00 minimum) will be added to all past due accounts unless other

arrangements have been made and approved with the credit department. No shipments will be made until

account is made current. Accounts continuously past due will be placed on C.O.D. or credit card status.

 

FREIGHT:

E. L. Reinhardt Company charges freight on ALL shipments.

 

STOCK ITEMS:

Part numbers and/or manufacturers shown in this catalog are subject to substitution, number change, nonstocked

or obsolete without notice. You will be notified at the time you place your order, or via your invoice or

packing slip, of merchandise not in stock.

You can specify: DO NOT BACKORDER.

 

NON-STOCK ITEMS:

Special orders for non-stock items will be allowed for approved credit accounts only. For new or non-approved

credit accounts, orders must be paid by credit card.

All non-stock orders CANNOT BE CANCELLED.

 

RETURNS:

We cannot be responsible for customer ordering error. If a return of product is needed, please follow these

directions:

1. A return good authorization number (RGA) must be issued. RGA numbers will be issued by one of our

salespeople. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted,

2. A copy of the invoice originally issued for merchandise being returned must accompany the merchandise.

The customer will pay freight charges unless authorized by our salespeople.

 

All returned merchandise may be subject to the following restocking charges:

Stock Items: 0 – 10 days from date of sale 0% restock charge

11 – 30 days from date of sale 15% restock charge

31 + days from date of sale 25% restock charge

 

Non-Stock Items: 50% restock charge

Returned merchandise must be in perfect selling condition and in unmarked/unstickered original package. If

carded merchandise is opened, no credit will be issued.

If any of these return directions are not followed, a 25% restock charge ($5.00 minimum) may apply.

 

ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS WARRANTY OR REPAIR RETURNS:

If electrical products need to be returned for warranty or repair, that product manufacturer’s policy will be used.

Due to the different policies from these manufacturers, we will not supply replacement hardware while

electrical product is being returned to that manufacturer while warranty or repair is being processed.
